ABOUT MELISSA

Melissa recently joined as SBDG's executive assistant, previously working in elementary schools doing full-time as a co-teacher. She graduated at Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Educational Science in Early Childhood Education and minor in Mandarin Chinese Language.

She coordinates most of the office's events, troubleshoots simple technology issues, and dips her toes into all of the departments at SBDG. Outside of work, you’ll find her appearing in new places with her friends for her new travel series and writing short stories to keep a creative flow. At home, she takes care of her newest puppy rescue, a Doberman/German Shepherd named Abby.

Fun fact: Melissa grew up in both Hawai'i and Texas, spending most summers with her family in Malaysia.
