ABOUT KAMILAH

Kamilah joined SBDG in August as a studio intern after earning her Associate of Applied Science in Interior Design from Dallas College, where she was a first-generation graduate. She loves design for its ability to transform spaces and experiences and values SBDG’s supportive, corporate-family environment.

She gained hands-on experience in Dallas Design District showrooms, learning to engage with designers and residents, and has been active in school clubs like Fashion Marketing, the Interior Design Club, and as an ASID Student Member. One of her projects was highlighted at Dallas College, exploring gentrification in Oak Cliff through photography that captures the people and community.

Kamilah is a proud dog mom and is continuing her studies at UTA in Architecture.
