ABOUT ERICA

Erica Barnes, RID is a nationally certified, registered interior designer known for delivering visionary, highly functional design solutions for commercial and residential projects. She holds a Bachelor of Interior Design with a Minor in Architecture from Texas Tech University, where she has also served for many years on the Interior Design Board of Advisors—investing in and mentoring the next generation of design professionals.

Erica founded Studio B Design Group in 2008, and under her leadership it has grown into a powerhouse within the multifamily design sector. Her work spans coast to coast across the United States and includes mixed-use developments, student housing, senior living communities, and both podium and garden-style projects. Her portfolio encompasses hundreds of amenity spaces and thousands of units.

Erica’s work has been featured in D Home, Dallas–Fort Worth Design Guide, Construction Review, and numerous national award publications, with multiple projects earning first- and second-place recognition.

When she isn’t leading her thriving design firm or traveling, Erica can be found lovingly renovating her 1930s bungalow, keeping up with her two active children, competing in jiu-jitsu, or pursuing her many fitness passions—including yoga, rock climbing, and pickleball.
